Newton Group of Schools — Qatar’s Largest Private School Network Online

I architected the complete digital ecosystem for Newton Group of Schools — Qatar's largest private school network with 9,311+ students across 9 campuses. The platform unified admissions, careers, curriculum pages, virtual campus tours, and a full WooCommerce uniform shop with TPAY payment processing — replacing a fragmented digital presence with a single enterprise-grade WordPress platform.

The Narrative

Newton Group was Qatar's most respected private school network — COBIS accredited, Cambridge certified, serving 46+ nationalities. But their digital infrastructure didn't match their institutional authority. Parents navigating admissions, uniform purchasing, and campus exploration faced a fragmented experience across disconnected systems, forcing the administrative staff to handle thousands of routine inquiries manually.

The Problem

9 Schools Operating as 9 Digital Islands

Key Pain Points

  • 9 school campuses with no unified digital hub — parents hunting for admissions info, curriculum details, or uniform purchasing had to navigate disconnected pages, outdated PDFs, and inconsistent branding across each school's presence
  • Uniform ordering was entirely offline — parents of 9,311+ students queued at physical school shops during limited hours, creating bottlenecks at term start and forcing staff to manage inventory, payments, and sizing manually
  • No centralized careers, admissions, or virtual tour system — prospective parents couldn't explore campuses remotely, job applicants had no portal to submit CVs, and the admissions pipeline relied on email chains and paper forms

The Solution

Building the Digital Campus

01

Enterprise Multi-Branch Architecture

Architected a unified WordPress platform serving 9 campuses (NIS West Bay, NIA Barwa City, NIS Lagoon, NIA D-Ring, NIA Smash, NBA Barwa City, NBS Al Waab, NBA Al Dafna, NBS Muraikh) under one CMS with shared global navigation,Built a comprehensive footer with branch listings, curriculum links, admission procedures, and contact information accessible from every page,Implemented mega menu navigation with quick links to Uniform Shop, Online Payment, Virtual Tour, and Branches dropdown

Unified Brand: 9 schools operating as one cohesive digital entity for the first time.
02

Curriculum Stage Navigation System

Designed a tabbed curriculum page with visual stage selectors: EYFS, Key Stage 1 & 2 (Primary), Key Stage 3 & 4-5 (Secondary) — each with distinct color coding and imagery,Built a comprehensive curriculum overview explaining the English National Curriculum adoption with links to official programmes of study for each Key Stage,Added external resource links to qa.gov, Cambridge, Pearson, and Ofqual for parent verification of curriculum standards

Parent Confidence: Curriculum transparency eliminated the #1 inquiry category from admissions staff.
03

WooCommerce Uniform E-Commerce Shop

Built a dedicated WooCommerce storefront with gender-based navigation (Boys/Girls), dress type filtering (Daily Wear, Accessories, PE), and age group segmentation (Foundation, Primary, Secondary),Integrated TPAY payment gateway for QAR transactions with secure checkout, account management, and order tracking,Configured product catalog with professional uniform photography, size guides, and pricing in Qatari Riyals (75-95 QAR range)

Revenue Channel: Parents purchased uniforms 24/7 without queuing at physical school shops.
04

Virtual Tour Campus Explorer

Built a dedicated Virtual Tour page with a 3×3 grid displaying all 9 campuses with thumbnail preview images and campus names,Each campus card linked to an immersive virtual tour experience allowing prospective parents to explore facilities remotely,Positioned the virtual tour prominently in the main navigation bar for instant access from any page

Enrollment Tool: Prospective expatriate parents explored all 9 campuses from abroad before scheduling visits.
05

Careers Portal & Admissions Pipeline

Built a careers page with job vacancy listings (British Academy, International Academy positions) and an 'Enquire Now' form with name, email, phone, and resume/CV file upload,Implemented a structured admissions flow: Procedure overview → Application Form → School Fees schedule — converting the enrollment journey from email chaos to a guided digital pipeline,Added persistent 'ADMISSIONS ARE OPEN — Apply Now' banners across all pages as conversion touchpoints

Operational Efficiency: CV submissions and admissions inquiries captured digitally instead of through scattered email threads.
